Ausallium specialises in the production and supply of high quality vegetable and herb seed for the microgreen, baby leaf and vertical farming industries.

Created by three close friends in Melbourne, Australia – all passionate about horticulture and the seed industry – Ausallium first opened its doors in 2019 and has been growing ever since.

The company has a strong presence in both the Australian and US markets and with growing demand in Europe, the group set up Ausallium B.V. in Budel, The Netherlands, in order to better service its European customers.

We offer a range of microgreen and herb seed products for vertical farmers, open field and greenhouse producers across all of Europe. In addition to microgreens and herbs, we also offer a select range of baby leaf products. Working alongside our breeder, we have recently released a range of rucola (rocket), lettuce and other baby leaf products for commercial growers – suited to both open field and hydroponic production.

Having supplied commercial growers on a global scale, we are aware of the importance and impact that seed has on the final product. For this reason, our focus on quality is paramount.

Over the years, we have developed strong relationships with our global grower network. This allows us to supply a range of different products to markets around the world and ensures we offer our customers consistent supply.

We apply strict quality control measures across all of our products, ensuring that each seed lot adheres to ISTA purity standards and has a germination rate above 85%. By doing so, we are able to supply seed lines that are fresh and high yielding. All seed is supplied raw and chemical-free, unless otherwise requested.

Our dedicated teams work closely with our customers and chefs to ensure our range is current and in line with market demands. Our passion for what we do results in a personalised approach to customer service and allows us to develop strong relationships with all of our growers.
