As the name suggest, Biclour Shiso is a mix of Green and Red Shiso, often the front of the leaf is green while the back and stems are vibrant red or purple in colour giving a two-toned effect.
Bicolour Shiso is visually stunning, the flavour is a mix of basil, mint, cinnamon and anise.
The nutritional profile is comparable to Green and Red Shiso. High in vitamins A and C, along with the essential minerals calcium, potassium and iron. As is the case with green shiso, the bicolour variety is also high in the Omega-3 fatty acid ALA.
Add Bicolour Shiso to a range of meals for not only colour and interest but a flavour punch.
